Acrison has been serving the municipal water and wastewater treatment industries, as well as the industrial wastewater treatment industry, for over 45 years, using the same core equipment philosophy of maximum performance, minimal maintenance, and longest possible lifespan.
Acrison feeders accurately and reliably feed chemicals common to this industry, such as hydrated lime, powdered activated carbon, soda ash, potassium permanganate, sodium fluoride, and sodium silico-fluoride, as well many other dry chemicals used in various treatment processes.
Utilizing either the Model W105 Series of Feeders with their unique Double Concentric Auger, Dissimilar Speed Metering Mechanisms, or the Model BDF-1.5 Feeder with its novel triple auger metering/conditioning mechanism, Acrison can meet the full range of applications, from simple feeder/dissolver packages, to integrated bulk silo storage and feed systems.
Additional components required for a complete system are also designed and manufactured by Acrison, backed by decades of experience. Dust collectors with bag dump stations and bulk bag unloaders can be provided for safe unloading of the chemicals into a feeder. Dissolving tanks and wetting cones of various sizes are available to effectively dissolve chemicals in water.
Building on the Company’s chemical feed expertise, and innovative design concepts, Acrison is a long-time leader in dry and liquid polymer blending technology. The Models 500 and 515 Dry Polymer Processing Systems employ a cyclone wetting chamber to impart the energy required to properly create a dilute solution from dry polymer. The Models 580 and 530 Liquid Polymer Blending Systems use a precision-engineered, and patented 'Dispersion-Injector' to instantaneously blend liquid polymer with water. Available in a number of different sizes, and a variety of options, Acrison’s polymer systems are able to produce a highly efficient polymer solution for use in a wide range of dewatering and clarification processes.
Acrison’s heavy-duty Model W-105 Series of Volumetric Feeders feature a Dissimilar Speed, Double Concentric Auger Metering Mechanism designed to accurately and reliably meter a wide variety of dry chemicals commonly used in water and wastewater treatment applications. This highly effective and versatile metering mechanism consists of a large 'Conditioning Auger' or Intromitter, concentrically mounted around a smaller 'Metering Auger', operating at dissimilar speeds in a 'fixed proportion' to each other by a single variable speed gearmotor. Model W-105 Series of Feeders are supplied as part of an 'equipment package' to satisfy the dry chemical metering requirements associated with a broad variety of water treatment processes.
Acrison’s Model 500 Polymair Preparation System cuts water and wastewater treatment costs through the accurate metering, positive dispersion, and complete wetting of dry and liquid polymers. The Model 500 Preparation System automatically and efficiently prepares a homogeneous and precise solution from either dry or liquid polymers at moderate to high capacities.
Acrison’s advanced Model 515 Polymer Preparation Module cuts water and wastewater treatment costs through the accurate metering, positive dispersion, and complete wetting of dry and liquid polymers. The Model 515 Preparation System automatically and efficiently prepares a homogeneous and precise solution from either dry or liquid polymers at low to moderate capacities.
Acrison’s Model 580 Liquid Polymer Preparation Modules are designed with an extremely efficient, two-stage activation system that produces a precise, uniform and thoroughly activated solution.
Acrison’s Dissolving Systems are used to produce solutions or slurries through efficient mixing of dry materials (chemicals) with water. Acrison Volumetric Feeders are used to meter dry chemicals into either a dissolving tank or a wetting cone (depending on the application and the material being fed), and are supplied as complete assemblies.
Acrison’s fully integrated silo storage and feeding systems are a product of over 50 years of expertise and experience in dry solids handling and feeding. Using advanced technologies, and superior components, each silo is specifically configured to meet a given customer’s individual application requirements.
